Meghan Maack, CFRE, BA, MPNL has raised millions of dollars for many causes, including disability rights, social services, education, international development, and health care. Meghan’s career began in event planning and peer-to-peer fundraising, but after receiving her CFRE accreditation in 2021, she shifted her focus to major and planned giving.
Meghan joins the Perley Health foundation team as a highly experienced and accredited fundraiser with a large network, who loves building long term philanthropic relationships with supporters and uncovering connections to cause.
Meghan is an active community volunteer with ABLE2, a local organization that supports people who live with disabilities and is matched with a community member who happens to live at the Perley. Meghan is also an active CAGP and AFP member, attending national conferences and mentoring new fundraising professionals.
Meghan’s most recent role was at Carleton University with a focus of working with supporters to establish legacy gifts in wills. While at Carleton, Meghan also achieved her Master’s in Not-for-Profit Philanthropy (MPNL). Her combination of professional experience and academic success puts her in the unique category of “pracademic”.
An active adventure traveller (most recently Peru, Nepal and South Africa) and a person who loves the outdoors, Meghan enjoys biking, hiking and canoeing with her circle of friends, family and loyal dog, Olive.
